yup, DOA in the Senate. They're going to concoct their own bill, which, of course, won't carry the Freedom Caucus and cannot be handled via reconciliation. All aboard the Trump Train!!!

"Obamacare is finally officially dead," is something they can say once the bill goes to the Senate, then gets out of committee, is debated on the floor, where amendments can be added, then the Senate votes on their bill, which is sent to conference committee, where the difference between the two bills are ironed out, then voted on in the House and Senate again, then sent to the White House for the president to sign. Which is why Republicans were chanting, 'We're number one...third of the way through a very complex process!'"

one pundit described yesterday's 'celebration' at the White House as akin to the team mobbing the pitcher after the end of the first inning. The Senate just put this thing on a track that won't even send it BACK to the House for conference and re-write until Summer, maybe early fall, depending on more pressing priorities.
