Every Canadian has been through that Hell at least once. It's very traumatic and can leave deep emotional scars.
It's commonly referred to as P.T.P.D. (Post Traumatic Poutine Disorder.)

i ordered poutine in new york city and got french fries with melted processed cheese slices on top. i almost gagged!
