Widespread boycotts over the state's immigration law might not be hitting the mark as recent data compiled by a market research group shows hotel bookings have been on the rise in the past two months.
maybe its because more people agree with the law than dont???

or, there has been an influx of protesters? Wait til less Hispanic earnings get spent in local stores and eateries. You'll see the true effect in about 6 months, I figure.

Or the unemployment goes down because there are less illegal hispanics taking those jobs

Well based upon the FACTS now available ;) we know several things Mathamatically

1. There are multitudes of Mexicans legal and illegal, fleeing the state ahead of the new immigration law taking effect this Thursday.
2. School attendance is down by as much as 25% in some area's confirming point 1.
3. With the amount of people leaving the state with the passing of sed law, they most likley will be vacating their jobs.
4. With the vacation of sed jobs, that will open more opportunities for them to be filled by the currently unemployed.
5. With fewer people in the state (see point 1) there will be less that should be counted as unemployed by the state. therefore causing the unemployment rate to decline.
6. With several new Business's relocating to AZ, this will again help to open new jobs further lowering those numbers.

:D
Broome said the state also has been able to attract new businesses to locate in Arizona despite bad publicity. He said his group plans to announce 2,000 to 3,000 new jobs thanks to investment from California, where Arizona boycotts are in place in several major cities, over the next few months.

I note he didn't dare use a word that large with you, Rube(your new name). Note, by the way, that I was man enough to invite Cuda to publicly call me on my opinion(and it is merely my opinion) should I be proven wrong. Not too much of that out of you, is there, Rube?

Slick...it is a fact that I can add and subtract....It seems that you and yours are more into multiplying and dividing, especially when it comes to deficits and health care.

Old Pudfark sez: " Seems like you over played the Race Card and have now progressed back to name calling...., how like you.... "
