turn on the TV, it is easier. Somebody leaked around 90,000 documents dated from 2004 to present regarding Afghanistan, Pakistan and the war over there. Generally, internal Pentagon memos.

pour yourself a drink while waiting for that one, Daii. And, whilst waiting, prepare dinner for 12, power wash the deck, and rebuild the engine on your car, using only tweezers and chopsticks as tools. Get back to me after that and let me know if Ruggie has fessed up.

The Obama administration on Monday called the release of thousands of classified documents on the Afghanistan war a "breach of federal law," as a prominent senator said the government needs to press charges in the case.
well hopefully this isnt just posturing on the part of the Administration.
next question, how do they proceed and convict??

I'm sure it isn't. This makes their job that much harder.

well, if they can determine the source within the Pentagon, they can arrest and charge them with one of several possible charges. Probably not treason, but there are other statutes dealing with improper use of classified material, and maybe even sedition, if you could prove intent to harm the government. As for WikiLeaks, they have no real recourse. Some of the slower students here would say that Obama will use it as an excuse to 'shut down the Internet', but we both know that nothing of the kind will occur.
