I accept nothing solo, from any source. This one was confirmed, by now, from a bunch of different sources, directly and indirectly.

Pud, that sort of thinking(if you are not merely joking, which I suspect) is what will make the Trump era short, and really odd.

know the tune just fine. I had a cousin Annie who, at about age 70, used to tell me that she never knew Damn and Yankee were two separate words until she was 15 years old. That flag, by the way, doesn't belong to the Confederacy or the 'South' . Never flew anywhere near any Confederate building, but a field HQ for Lee and Jackson or other field officer. That is the battle flag of the Army of Northern Virginia. My ancestors fought under it, and the thought of someone using it to celebrate anything in modern America is both puzzling and a wee bit insulting. Those men had actual morals, unlike most folks waving it around these days. I can see some folks celebrating heritage, especially Virginians, but, say, nitwits in Pennsylvania or even Texas? Sorry. Not yours to desecrate.
